Mr. Kasegaonkar from Akkalkot used to attend spiritual gatherings in Machnur from the very beginning. He and Saint Baba Maharaj Arvikar were very close. Whenever Baba went to Akkalkot, he always stayed at their place.
After the second Sadhana Saptaha (7 day sadhana program guided/organized by Saint Baba), Mr. Kasegaonkar went home. Baba had asked Mrs. Kasegaonkar to stay at the ashram for a little longer, so she did. Four days later, when she went to tell Baba that she would be leaving, Baba said to her, “Don’t take the route via Begumpur to Akkalkot, instead go via Pandharpur.”
Mrs. Kasegaonkar didn’t have enough money to take the bus via Pandharpur though, and mentioned this to Baba.
Then Baba called Mr. Bal Moholkar, gave him 10 rupees and asked him to drop Mrs. Kasegaonkar at the station and get her on the bus. Mrs. Kasegaonkar got on that bus and made it home safe and sound.
Later, they found out that the bus that Mrs. Kasegaonkar was originally planning to take, via Begumpur, was robbed by some thieves.
Know this, Saints are only god.
Saint Baba Maharaj Arvikar says that you can only recognize god if you can first recognize saints. This is because it is through the form (swaroop) of saints that you meet and interact with god. Otherwise it is impossible to get such direct evidence of god, so easily in this impermanent creation. Saints are the gods of humans. It is god, through the form of saints, that come to this plane to uplift humanity.
